About the program

The Testing Within Government (TWiG) program allows small to medium enterprises (SMEs) to improve the positioning of their products by working collaboratively with Queensland Government on a number of business problems. Successful applicants receive funding to test and refine their product while addressing real business problems.

At the end of the 12-week program applicants have an opportunity to showcase their products and their TWiG program experience to a wide group of government and industry representatives.

Being part of the TWiG program is an opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and experience, improving the potential to access broader commercial opportunities in Queensland, Australia and internationally.

Round two funding recipients

Funding has been awarded to 11 SMEs through the 2017 round of the TWiG program.

An event will be held in September 2017 for the SMEs, together with Queensland Government business experts, to showcase the products, lessons learned and experience gained during the program.

Round one funding recipients

Five SMEs were awarded funding in the 2016 round of the TWiG program which concluded with a showcase event.
